Happy but very tired. Important thing is happy~ I don't think I have said that in a while.

I received my copy of In Heaven (red one!) and 3hree Voices II Photo Story yesterday~ I thought I would have to go to the city to retrieve the packages. When I tracked the packages online, I kept seeing the "unsuccessful delivery" note on each. D: Online search only brought me to horror stories from people, such as those being charged taxes that are sometimes 400% more than the actual value of the content T_T But I have all the goodies in my hands now. Yeay! I listened to the entire album yesterday and it's so nice to hear all the tracks. I can't do a proper review yet, but let me just say, I absolutely enjoyed it. I've only flipped through the album photo book so far because I was afraid of leaving fingermarks haha. As for the Photo Story, I checked the DVD to see if it's working (it is haha!) and flipped through the photo book again. There were more photos in there that weren't shared online, but I'm guessing it's because JYJ are not in those photos XD

Also, the cards that I sent for the [livejournal.com profile] doctoreleven project has been received by the person in charge of putting the books together. I can't wait until everything has been been compiled~!

I've been enjoying the rounds at the [community profile] chromicons Seven Week Icon Challenge. I don't always get comments, which I would love to get, specifically constructive criticisms because I know I'm such a total newbie XD Anyway, the important thing is enjoying each round and finding a way to relax, specifically using Photoshop for anything besides making community banners.

Speaking of communities, I think the solution is very simple and I should have done so before. I'll just go with the flow. I will get things done but not at the expense of my own comfort or happiness. Basically, I will not let remarks like "The community is dead." from inactive members affect me anymore. By being inactive, they have also contributed to the "death" of the community.

This goes out to people I no longer want to speak to and to current friends, as well: I have no desire to be friends or remain friends with people who use what they know about me against me. I am aware that your friends become your worst enemies; they know exactly where to hit you so that it would hurt. But whatever ammunition they're using against you was something that was shared in confidence and among friends. Even if that relationship is no longer valid, the decent thing is to keep matters confidential. I wouldn't want any of my friends to reveal my secrets when I die before they do!

Also, please be more creative and stop ranting against me through communities I co-maintain. Hmm...I should probably put a disclaimer that my own personal views do not represent the views of all the members in those communities that I co-maintain.

P.S. JYJ Unforgettable Concert in Japan~ I've been reading bits and pieces from fans and seeing photos from the venue...wah looks so good! I'm so happy for Japanese fans~ Please take care of JYJ!

Since JYJ are Koreans, the primary sources of information are all in Korean. Most Korean fans are accommodating and appreciative of JYJ's popularity all over the globe. Those who are also fluent in English are happy to translate articles. While some are too protective of JYJ to the point of being suspicious of international fans, I understand where they are coming from. I think there are certain things that require a better understanding of their culture and society, so I think it's important to show that this love for their artist is not mere Asian fetish. Support shouldn't be limited to the media you share online or the money you spend on merchandise.

I know Korean fans also want to share information to international fans (yes, despite the media blackout on JYJ), but translating takes time. In my opinion, as far as translations are concerned, being accurate is more important than being first.

Given everything that JYJ is going through, this is truly not the time for fans-actual fans, mind you-to debate on which group does more for the fandom. Your contribution is your contribution. It is pointless to say that yours is more valuable than that of others. I have always believed that all fans are important, so no fan is better than the rest. As one of my favorite writers, Jessica Zafra, said, "If you’re smart you don’t let on how smart you are, you allow other people to feel smart." Similarly, if you truly are an indispensable member of the fandom, your action and reputation will do the talking. The members of JYJ are known for their humility and being their fans, I think we should be too.

I haven't been feeling well these past few days. The left side of my neck aches (also the left side of my head--could the pain be connected?). It isn't stiff neck but I don't know what it is. I've tried different sleeping positions, but that doesn't seem to be very effective. Of course, this doesn't stop me from working on the icons for the icon challenge and icon battle. (I even signed up for the second round of [community profile] chromicons' icon challenge and I now know what I would work on given the prompts.) Somehow, doing that allowed me to temporarily forget about the neck pain (and to think up something to write in job applications/projects). I try not to work for long hours because of my right arm; it's only recently that I've been able to use this arm properly. (I'm able to wash the dishes now, much to my sister's relief.) However, because of the pain, I tend to take breaks more often to try sleep it off. The pain never goes away though.

JYJ - In Heaven MV

The MV exceeded my expectations. The song is just T_T♥ Some have compared the story to the 2004 film, If Only. After checking the film's premise, it is indeed similar. (I also found out why the movie isn't familiar to me; I don't watch such movies. haha.)

On a shallow note, how pretty is Song Jihyo in this? Of course, she has always been, but she was particularly adorable and amazing in the MV. On another shallow note, how gorgeous is Junsu here? I alternate between OMGSOSAD and HOLYSHITWHYSOGORGEOUS. (If this were a scene from an anime or manga, my face would be such an utter mess, what with the crying and nose-bleeding.) Acting is very good too. Also, thank you director for that wonderful shot of Junsu's rear towards the end (in addition to all the gorgeous shots of him running~). Haha. I must also thank whoever dressed him in this MV because wow, he looks great! I know he's not the most fashionable one in the group and it's just...WHY? He'd look so much more amazing if he would avoid being...experimental. Well, there's nothing wrong with that really (Yoochun does that too), but in Junsu's case *remembers that pink monstrosity with the blue bow* umm yeah. That's enough experimenting, Junsu. >>; Anyway, I thought Jihyo and Junsu look great together. :)

I read that there will be a 10-minute full version of the MV to be released soon. DO WANT. (Don't tell me they'll be releasing a CD+DVD version of the album in the future? :(( If ever I hope they include the full MV plus filming footage in the concert DVD.) I wish C-JeS had posted this in their Vimeo account. I'm sure they can manage to keep a paid account too (I can't remember which type they have), so they can avoid the upload restrictions. Vimeo is not as popular as YouTube, but... I like Vimeo *uses it for projects* plus it's a nice way to share stuff with international fans. Sometimes I feel bad because we're left out of certain things.

Anyway... This song is beautiful and I wish people would show some respect by not associating it with any couple whatsoever. How daft and insensitive are these people? How many times must it be clarified that this song is about Jaejoong's dear friend, Park Yongha, who killed himself while JYJ were on tour in the US?! Why is it so hard for some people to believe and accept that Jaejoong has friends beyond the members of his former and current groups? Ugh, enough with the stupid associations please. -_-

I love my fandoms, though between this MV and last week's episode of Doctor Who, I have no tears left! T_T

I got so excited when I saw JYJ's Get Out on iTunes. Well, what do you know, it's only available in US stores. :(((!!

I wasn't sadface for long thanks to [personal profile] omen1x2♥ who sent the song to me as a gift~! It took a while before I could finally download it though, because apparently my existing Apple ID wouldn't do; I need one with a US address. Damn it iTunes. Why you do this to me? (I have an iPod too!) :|

ANYWAY...GET OUT IS PERFECTION♥♥♥~!!! This is not the bias speaking (Jaejoong and Yoochun wrote it); I just really love the song. Their voices = perfection. I can't wait to get the album :)
